The celebrations and rejoicing by the militant homosexual mob over Kim Davis' imprisonment in the U.S. last week is very telling, and frightening. It should send a chill down the spine of the sleeping majority who are not speaking up for traditional marriage and family.
This is where we are heading in Australia too if we allow the same-sex Trojan horse to decimate the sanctity of marriage.
The minority of homosexual people who are genuine in their desire for recognition of their love for each other are being manipulated by groups of politicians, unions, fascist, totalitarians and left-wing social anarchists who see the opportunity for this "same-sex juggernaut" to do what Lenin, Marx, Engels and Mao could not fully achieve: destroy the family and replace it with the State.
Their cause has been hi-jacked by groups whose extremism will cause an eventual anti-homosexual tidal wave as its equal but opposite extreme response.
Homosexuals should speak up now and stop this extremism in its tracks.
Up until a few short years ago it was considered normal for marriage to mean between a man and a woman only. Now, due to the bullying and intimidation of the homo-fascists, if you dare to live by that long-held foundational principle you will be lynched by the ugly mob.
Today for Kim Davis it is prison. But tomorrow it will be death for someone standing up for their faith and their conscience. That is where such a wave of mob hatred leads.
The Bible says homosexual behavior is not acceptable, that it is wrong, that it is harmful, that marriage is only between a man and a woman. Christians, if they be true to their faith, to their God, must say the same thing, and it must shape their actions. The militants are after those nasty Christians. They will not stop at changing laws to pretend it is okay for a man to "marry" another man, and do the sexual acts they do to each other. They will have to go after the Bible, Christians and Jews, and...
As Niemoller reminds us, “In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up."
The tsunami of hatred on its way in the West will soon see Christians (who, for those unfamiliar with them, are human beings too) killed by the ugly mob for being faithful to their beliefs. Why not. There is nothing new under the sun, and as Orwell said, “The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.”
Just as the ugly mob insisted on killing Jesus and mocked Him as He suffered excruciating pain leading to death on the cross, so His followers will face persecution from the ugly mob.
The witness of His followers, like Kim Davis, during such persecution though, reveals the difference between the persecutors and the persecuted.
We are ALL naturally on the side of the ugly mob. But for the grace of God Christians would still be there. Christians need to embrace this opportunity to reveal the truth of Jesus to the lost world. Jesus remained faithful and obedient to the truth during His crucifixion. Knowing the truth about this fallen, temporary, passing world, and about the glory to come, He was able, in spite of the extreme pain, to speak and forgive the mob. They were not ugly to Him, they were lost sinners in need of divine forgiveness.
Steven, the first Christian martyr, was likewise able (only with God's help), having seen a glimpse of the glory of God, to ask God to forgive the ugly mob while they were stoning him to death! One of that mob, Paul, became one of the greatest Christian leaders of all time, by the grace of God alone.
While the Christians continue to stand for the truth and begin to be imprisoned for it and ultimately die for it, the Christian-hating, Bible-hating, (and then ultimately everyone else-hating, ugly mob will continue to march proudly and loudly as, “They parade their sin like Sodom. They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought disaster upon themselves.” (Isaiah 3:9). Yet, Christians will generally continue to pray for God to forgive the ugly mob. That is the difference. That is love for ones fellow human.
Jesus died that day. over 2000 years ago, in the place of all those members of the ugly mob who put their trust in Him, from then to now and beyond, who turn from their anti-God behavior and who follow Jesus and live the way God has revealed is best for humans, not the way humans think is best for them.
BUT it didn't end there! Jesus rose from the dead on the third day! He proved that He is God, that He controls death, that He has defeated death. All those who put their trust in Him and follow Him will no longer suffer eternal death. Their sins were paid in full on the cross by Jesus, and they receive new life, immediately changing their life here and now and forever. While they will still suffer physical death in this life, at death they instantly are translated to eternity in the presence of God in heaven forever.
Christians will continue to be and need to be faithful and obedient to God. We also need to pray for those of our brothers and sisters who will be the current generation of martyrs. We need to speak up for them, as Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has spoken up for Kim Davis, saying, "Today, judicial lawlessness crossed into judicial tyranny. Today, for the first time ever, the government arrested a Christian woman for living according to her faith. This is wrong. This is not America. I stand with Kim Davis. Unequivocally. I stand with every American that the Obama Administration is trying to force to choose between honoring his or her faith or complying with a lawless court decision.
Kim Davis should not be in jail. We are a country founded on Judeo-Christian values, founded by those fleeing religious oppression and seeking a land where we could worship God and live according to our faith, without being imprisoned for doing so. I call upon every Believer, every Constitutionalist, every lover of liberty to stand with Kim Davis. Stop the persecution now."
Every child comes from and needs BOTH a mother and a father. Same-sex "marriage" intentionally keeps either a mother or a father from the child. Government should protect the child through upholding traditional marriage.
There is “a time to be silent, and a time to speak”. (Ecclesiastes 3:7). Now is the time to speak, so please speak up and defend children, truth and freedom.
“What the world needs most is a voice that courageously speaks the truth, not when the world is right, but a voice that speaks the truth when the world is wrong.” Fulton Sheen
