New Study - 'Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the biological, psychological and social sciences'
Two noted scholars, Dr. Lawrence Mayer and Dr Paul McHugh, recently published a 143 page study in the New Atlantis Journal. The Study analysed scientic peer-reviewed research studies from the biological, psychological and social sciences over the past 60 years. Dr Lawrence S. Mayer is Professor of Statistics and Biostatistics at Arizona State University (and a a scholar in residence at John Hopkins University). Paul McHugh is Professor of Psychiatrics at John Hopkins University Medical School.
The Study confirms many of the positions relating to sexuality that we have consistently presented over the past twenty years - on individuals not being 'born that way'; on gender identity; on change of gender identity in children; and the increased health, mental health and substance abuse rates within the homosexual community.
With society's endorsement of homosexuality, and the current push for homosexual 'marriage', we all need to take a hard look at what the real issues are...
